Splash into Summer

Event announcement!  Herend Village Pottery Imports will be co-hosting its first promotional event (see sidebar) on June 23rd, from 11-2, at Peter Danford in Shaker Heights, Ohio.  We have a bunch of great items up for sale and in a variety of patterns, including the ever-popular "Splash" and "Garden Party" variety as well as the elusive "Olive" and "Mermaid" patterns.  Come and go as you wish, but tell your friends and family!  I will try to tempt you all with homemade goodies and refreshments, but I have a feeling none will be needed :-)

A few important details to keep in mind if you plan to attend (which I hope you do!): many items will be for sale, but some will be on display only.  These particular items are from personal collections and are solely to give interested shoppers a visual sense of what styles are offered and can be ordered.  My friends at Peter Danford will be taking orders throughout the event and helping you customize the piece(s) you might want to buy, should those item(s) you want/crave/covet not be available at that time.  Sale items that are purchased will be reserved and on display until 2 p.m., whereupon home deliveries or pick-ups can be made.

If you can't make the event, or if you're not a local Clevelander, please feel free to be in touch.  I'm happy to give you a free consultation via phone/e-mail, set up a private trunk show, or tell you about the next Herend Village Pottery Imports event.  I will also be posting photos of the event on this blog and on Facebook pre- and post-event to give you a feel for the items being showcased.  Stay tuned!

A Bridal Bonanza

It's about that time of year again: WEDDING SEASON!  Whether you are a bride trying to figure out your informal tableware or the guest looking to pick out the perfect gift for the happy couple, Herend Village Pottery provides endless, gorgeous options -- all at affordable prices.

There are wonderful selections for the modern and the traditional bride, for those who are into floral patterns and for those who prefer highly sophisticated designs.  If you like the Italian line Vietri, for example, you'll go gaga over the "Splash" and fruit patterns.  If you like the elegance of Herend porcelain -- but agonize over the lofty price tag -- you'll love the "Poppy" or "Sunlight" patterns.

No matter what you choose, you'll rave about the uniqueness and quality of craftsmanship apparent in each hand painted piece of Herend Village Pottery.  (You might also appreciate that each piece can be specially customized to suit your individual interests and personal style!)  Perfect as serveware, tableware, home decor, and giftware, you're likely to impress and be impressed with each purchase you make.  Happy hunting and congratulations to all the brides-to-be!
